Paul Lukianovich, VMD Dr. Paul Lukianovich was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but moved to Marlton, New Jersey after graduating from LaSalle University. He worked on his Masters Degree at Rutgers University, and completed his veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, graduating with honors - magna cum laude. Although he worked at the Marlton Animal Hospital in many capacities since May 1978, he joined the veterinary staff as an associate in 1984, and has proceeded to become the current owner of the practice. He married Christine Hayduk in 1977, and they have two sons, Paul Jr. and Jeremy, both of whom are also active in the practice. Dr. Lukianovich shares his home with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles.
Honey Rothberg, VMD Dr. Honey Rothberg, originally from New York City, earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. After completing a small animal internship she worked at two practices in New Jersey before joining the staff of the Marlton Animal Hospital and became co-owner in 1975. She recently sold her interest in the hospital but continues to work at Marlton Animal Hospital. Her desire to be a veterinarian began during her childhood and her love for animals, people, and medicine remains to this day the most important part of her life. She has a special interest in internal medicine and enjoys the challenges of reptile medicine. She has many of her own pets, most of which were rescues: among them several dogs, cats, horses, goats, snakes, and lizards. She feels extremely lucky to have been able to spend her life helping the creatures she loves so much.
Scott Kandell, VMD Dr. Scott Kandell grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He attended college at The American University in Washington DC; and earned his B.S. degree in biology in 1997. Dr. Kandell then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and earned his veterinary degree in 2001. Scott joined Marlton Animal Hospital in the summer of 2003. Some of his professional interests include dermatology and soft-tissue surgery. Dr. Kandell currently lives in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He currently owns two big Ragdoll cats.
Sharon Reighn-Peery, DVM Dr. Sharon Reighn-Peery, a New Jersey native, was born in a small town in southern New Jersey called Dorothy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Dr. Reighn received her veterinary degree at Purdue University in May 2004. She has worked in two other practices in New Jersey but now resides near Marlton with her husband, Christopher Peery. In addition to working with cats and dogs, she has special interests in dermatology and small mammal medicine. Currently she has Four cats -- Amoretta, Edward, Hippie, and Maggie.
Helen Campbell, VMD Dr. Helen Campbell graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She has a strong background in emergency and critical care medicine. Her professional interests include surgery and geriatric medicine. Helen and her husband Jeff have been married for 24 years, they have 4 teenage children. The Campbell family also includes their four dogs and four cats. Amanda Bowden, VMD Dr. Amanda Bowden is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Elizabethtown College and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her veterinary degree in 2005. She continued he studies with a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bowden worked at a small animal hospital in Delaware before moving to the Garden State and joining us at Marlton Animal Hospital. She currently resides in Mount Laurel with two rescued pets- an overly affectionate cat and a hyper Pomeranian.
Marcy L. Rose, DVM, MS Dr. Rose hails from upstate New York. She arrived in New Jersey via Vermont (her BS degree), Ithaca New York (a Cornell University DVM graduate), Knoxville Tennessee for her internship, and Madison Wisconsin (she received her residency and Masters degree.) After 3 additional years in Wisconsin in private practice, Dr. Rose moved to New Jersey in 1992. Initially she started in New Jersey in private practice around Mullica Hill, but came to Marlton Animal Hospital Full time for 10 years, and now is working part time. Dr. Rose enjoys running, weight lifting, woodworking, gardening, and cooking. Currently she lives with a 1.5 year old mix breed dog, named Dennis and 3 cats, Henry, Hannah, and Flash. All of Dr. Roses pets are rescued animals.
Michael Miller, VMD
Michael S. Miller, M.S., V.M.D., Diplomate, American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, obtained his Masters in cardiac electro-physiology at Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1975 and is a 1979 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Miller was associated with Dr. Larry Tilley for 12 years (1980-1992) and is a former Vice President and Consultant for Cardiopet, Inc. Dr. Miller uses state-of-the-art equipment to perform two-dimensional and M-mode echocardiography, pulse and continuous wave Doppler and color-flow Doppler ultrasound. He is co-editor of W.B. Saunder's Manual of Canine and Feline Cardiology, AAHA's Cardiology Pocket Reference, and Canine and Feline Cardiac Arrhythmeas (Lea and Febiger). In 1992, Dr. Miller was presented with AAHA's northeast region Outstanding Service to Veterinary Medicine Award. |
